Mila Elena was born Thursday night via emergency c section after 48 hours of that hellish induction. Long story short once I finally was transferred to L and D after 36 hours of Cervadil and the foley bulb, they messed up my epidural. Then they had to give me a spinal which didn't work. Then they took it all out and replaced the epi, which again didn't work. I stopped progressing at eight cm and had hellish nonstop contractions for hours before literally screaming to get her out. So different from my calm labor with Ava. Anyway, Mila weighed seven pounds six ounces and was 21.25 inches long! Her head was lodged in my birth canal at an angle which is apparently why the contractions were so bad. We love her so much and get to take her home tomorrow! She's latching like a champ. Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts earlier this week. They truly helped! XO
Re: Mila is here!
SQUEAL!!! She is soooo adorable, I wish I could kiss her!
I love that little hat, too. I'm sorry you had such a horrible labor, it sounds like a nightmare.
But I'm so glad that you are both ok. How does Ava like her little
Such a sweet picture! What a pretty baby! Sorry your labor was so awful, but glad everyone is safe now. Get some rest!
Glad nursing is going well and hopefully you all can get some rest when you get home after the long labor.
Good luck with you recovery!

Congratulations!
Mila and Ava are such cute names.
I am so sorry your labor went that way. It really does sound like a nightmare.
Mila is beautiful. I hope all the sweet snuggles and cuddles will help you recover quickly.
I'm glad we all could give you a little long-distance support. What a crazy birth story. I'm sorry it was rough, but you did get a beautiful little girl out of it.
Mila is darling!
