Car Seat Experts: Cosco Scenera Question

I am going to need to buy two car seats for my mothers car when she starts babysitting them M-F in August.  At that point, DD will be 3 and DS will be 1.  I don't want to spent a lot since she will most likely only take them out about once a week, if that.  I am looking at the cosco scenera because the price is right and I have heard good reviews. Will this last DD a year though?  I know it has shorter shell.  Should I get her the booster version instead, I don't know much about boosters other than it says 30+ pounds (DD is slightly over 30 pounds).

  • I am not a carseat expert, but the cosco high back booster gets terrible reviews, I would instead look at the evenflo maestro. It is quite economical also. The scerena should be fine for your 1 year old.
