so there's something in the water at my school and there are 5 teachers pregnant this year... 5 babies  in 2013!!! And it's really an epidemic when you think there's only 30 teachers at the school! 

Anyway, someone decided that it would be a good idea to have a shower for all of us this Friday.  It's awesome that they want to celebrate our babies but how in the hell am  going to afford 4 baby gifts at the  time? 

Does anyone have any ideas for inexpensive shower gifts that I could throw together before Friday?

    I am a big fan of a mommy rescue bag for the hospital.  Lotion, chapstick, face wash, magazine/book/suduko, gum, mints, stuff from the travel section.  This is what I do for folks when I don't want to spend too much, but want to look like I real

    you could always make a bunch of goodies and wrap them up cute. choc. pretzels, cookies, cake pops. unless someone has GD then make sugar free kind so they can still indulge.

    How about a taggie blanket or other toys?  I feel like toys get neglected and babes use them pretty quickly. Anything with the cracklies on the inside is a huge hit with my nephew.

    Shampoo's, baby wash, towels? Or how about crib sheets? Real easy but essential stuff. Besides they will have their own big shower so you are right in going small.

    I think you can always get the best deals on clothes so check out TJMaxx or Ross for a good outfit and you're set! You can find some for as low as 4.99 sometimes.

    I actually think a baby toiletry basket or a thing of diapers/wipes would be just fine - at my work shower, one of my good friends (and coworkers) gently suggested that DH and I could really use packs of diapers instead of outfits, toys, etc. I REALLY
