Few questions (long)

In my intro the other day, a few of you suggested genetic testing. As we are just getting into things (evals,therapy,etc.) genetic testing has not yet been mentioned. So, I have a few questions related to that.

Who should I bring that up with? Was there something specific to the info in my intro that prompted that suggestion or is that just a general starting point? Is there something specific to be looking for?

Today DD1 had her first actual working speech therapy session for the eating issues. She had a complete meltdown and really surprised us with how hard of a time she had working with the therapist without me there. I know some of this is just getting acclimated, but it really brought to light how much I have been protecting her or circumventing triggers of things that cause these meltdowns. 

We are working on getting the OT eval set up to look into the SPD, but after doing a M CHAT and just looking at the big picture, some things point to her possibly being on the ASD,possibly Aspergers. We are meeting with her pedi to discuss the M CHAT results, the ST and OT evals, and to set up a developmental pedi referral. Any advice? Things I can read until all of that gets rolling?

    Generally you can get a referral from your pediatrician. I don't recall the specifics of your post, but a genetics consult is appropriate whenever a child has multiple congenital anomalies or delays.

    Did you do the M-CHAT online or did your DD's PCP do one
