Peanut Butter/Tree nuts

Has anyone tried peanut/nut butter with their LO? We have no allergies and the Dr gave the ok for anything but citrus and honey but I am still dragging my feet on trying.

  • We have given dd peanut butter with no issue.  The only thing the dr told us to be careful of is the choking hazard.

    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

  • We're holding off on peanut butter and shelfish because DH's mom is alergic to both so it's a slight chance DS could be...more likely not but better safe than sorry.
  • I've tried peanut butter with Renee. She had absolutely no problems with it. We also don't have a history of peanut allergies in our family though.

  • We tried it with no issues.  Our pedi said the new research shows it is better to introduce allegen early to avoid reactions.
