Just finished clomid cycle 1 - I started my period today, which would have been CD24, so my cycle, which FF tells me after 25 cycles is usually 27 days, was only 23 days. Seems oddly short. Any similar experiences?
(no I am not monitored by RE yet, I have to do 3 cycles with OB for my insurance to cover RE - very frustrating. 2 cycles to go. I seriously am very pessimistic that clomid will do anything for us.)
Re: Clomid and short cycle?
Well, unmedicated I tend to O around cd20. This is my first round of Clomid and I am Triggering today (CD10). So I will be having a significantly short cycle. So I guess the answer is, yes, it is normal to have shorter cycles.

What you really need to look at, instead of length of total cycle is the length of your LP. If clomid made you O early, at say cd11 - then your LP was only 12 days (in the window of normal). But if you O'd on cd14 and had a LP of only 9 day

I paid for one out of pocket monitoring on CD13 last cycle. Yup, it sucks, but this is what I have to do or else none of it will be covered - I mean it took me 24 cycles to get into an OB, so 3 more cycles to get to RE seems like it will be ok. <
