So nervous! IUD

Sitting in the office waiting for my test results to come back that I am not pregnant shocker I have no time for sex! so I can get mirena. I have been researching way too much and am so nervous!! If you are getting it do not read the horror stories all over the Internet. I am shaking. Anyone else getting it or having it done soon?

I had no side effects.

Weird when I had mine put in they brought in a nurse and she offered to hold my hand "in case the pain was too much"

I was like really it hurts THAT bad.

Anyway, it was nothing.

I've decided against getting it even with my insurance ordering it without my asking. I just don't want to risk it and we're seriously considering having another baby sooner rather than later.

I felt the same exact way. I was so nervous.

It ended up being so not a big deal to have it placed and so far I've been very happy. I have Paragard and I've had it for ~5 weeks.

I was SO anxious before I got mine. For real, my bp was 150/95 before insertion. It wasn't bad and now I might be in love. I never have to think about it.
