Blackjack!

 I just got back from my monitoring appointment. As the ultrasound tech was measuring the follies she told us "It looks like you have blackjack."  I have a 21mm follies on each ovary and my lining is 11mm.   I am going to trigger today.  And yes, I teared up looking at my follies on the ultrasound screen (I am so lame).  I am so flippin' happy!

Question:  What time of day do you think it is best to trigger?

    That is super exciting!!! If I ever see a 21mm follie on the u/s screen I would probably pee my pants. I'm not sure about the trigger shot timing...I have gotten one and my doctor gave it to me at the clinic. Good luck and hopefully those follicles relea

    Great size follicles. My RE's office always has me trigger at 9pm and I always went in about 36 hours later for IUI.

    Are you doing an IUI? If so your trigger should line up with that.

    Awesome! Good size and good lining numbers! I don't know much about triggers. When is your IUI? Aren't you supposed to time it a certain number of hours before that?

    My IUI is tomorrow! We can be LameO cycle buddies! Lol

    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

    BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

    Jordan Samuel born April 19, 2014. 6 lb, 12 oz and 18 inches long.

    Awesome news!  Good luck!  My RE has me trigger anywhere from 8pm-10pm on the day that I need to do the trigger shot.  Not exactly sure of the reason, so not sure if this will even help.

    *TTC #1* since Sept '11.
    BFP #1 2/26/12. C/P 3/1/12 
    Dx Oct '12: Hypothyroid, PCOS and blocked left tube.
    1500mg Metformin, 75mcg Synthroid
    Feb: 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI= BFN
    March: 150mg Clomid + Trigger + TI= 4 mature follies- BFN 
    April: Unmedicated cycle due to vacation timing= BFN
    May: *IUI #1* Letrozole + Trigger + IUI=BFP!
    1st Beta (17dpo): 455  Progesterone: 40
    2nd Beta: (19dpo):  810  Progesterone: 37
    1st ultrasound 6 weeks 5 days: Twins!

    That's great!

    Like the others, we always were told by the nurse to trigger 36 hours before the IUI was scheduled. 

    ETA: Duh, you are TI this cycle. I'm sorry I'm in a fog the past few days. When we trigger

    If you are doing trigger and TI, I'd do what fits best with your schedule for sex at the 24 and 48 hours point for sex.  IUI's are usually 36 hours after trigger shot if you are doing one IUI - but 24 hours before if you are doing back t

    I don't have any advice on the trigger times, but just wanted to say YAY for 21 mm follies.  So nice to get some good news!  FX for you!

    Me 32 :: DH 41

     TTC since November, 2011

    DH's SA : Excellent

    Lap and Hysteroscopy June 2012

    DX: PCOS, Stage III Endo, slight Adenomyosis, blocked tube, and probable LPD

    Treatments:  6 Months Lupron Depot injections; 1500 mg metformin; 3 cycles of Clomid + TI = BFN

    3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase" 

    September - December, 2013:  Break to lose weight and get healthy

    40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"  

    February - March 2014: bcps + follistim + trigger + TI = BFP

     Beta #1 (12dpo): 30; Beta #2 (18dpo): 500; Beta #3 (25dpo): 7,000!!! 

    1st u/s 4/16: One beautiful hb at 144 bmp 

    2nd u/s 4/29: hb at 166 bmp.  Graduated from RE!!

    Baby girl arrived on Thanksgiving day weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 inches

    Yay! I would be really happy with that response also! As for your question, my nurse always gives me my trigger at the monitoring appointment so I'm not sure. Fingers crossed for you this cycle!

    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    nice follies!!! don't know about triggering because the nurse does it for me but it's been 9am both times. good luck this cycle!

    Yay! That is awesome!

     Last IUI, they told me to trigger between 4 and 9 PM. This time they told me at 9:30PM. You may want to call and ask just to be sure.
