My daughter was a NICU Baby for the first 3 weeks she was alive, when we finally got to take her home, she was relatively fussy for about 3 weeks, wouldn't sleep without us holding her, not for more then 2 hours etc...very standard baby stuff. Then we got lucky, and I admitted it every time somebody asked about her, but she consecutively slept through the night from about 2 and a half months on, for a minimum of 6 hours.
These past couple of days, maybe about 4 or 5, she has been RIDICULOUSLY fussy at night time. Once about 8 o'clock hits, she's screaming and yelling, she won't take a bottle without a huge fuss, she won't lie down, she doesn't want to swing, she doesn't want to sit, she doesn't want to be held. Literally there is nothing we can do for her except maybe walking around....what the heck is happening??? I realize some people are dealing with this every day and it's totally normal, it's just not for my LO and I was wondering if anybody knew what could be going on? I checked for teething and didn't really see anything so I'm not sure if that's it or not, but she has been chewing on this a lot more lately.
If anybody has had similar experiences, ANY advice would help, I'm just feeling helpless not knowing what is wrong or how to help her!!

Welcome to the 4 month wakeful. All of this is totally normal. Babies go temporarily insane at 4 months and forget how to sleep, become fussy and extra clingy. The good news is, it's temporary. You may have some teething issues soon, but the fussiness
Ok so my DS has just started this as well. Just the last few nights. He wants his dad until I walk in the room as well. But from 6-9 he cry's and cries and screams and cries. I check to make sure he is not hungry (breastfeeding he cries on the breast.)
