Coverage of tragedies

It seems every time something tragic happens (which is far too often these days) I open an Internet window (Yahoo is my home page) to see a feature advertising "Horrific Pictures of..." Today, obviously, it's the Boston Marathon explosions. Does this bother anyone else? Of course I want to see/read updated news coverage (i.e. if they found the parties responsible, etc...), but I resent the exploitation of the tragedies of others to get more "clicks."

    I also have a hard time when the new throws their city into the mix. I live in the Portland, OR are and they do this all of the time. "How is Portland prepared for something like this?"
