So we received the most unusual news at our ultra sound today. We went last week and should have been around 6w5d and no embryo was to be found. Today at 7w5d we have an embryo and a heartbeat?!? It is only measuring 6w2d so we know this is still not the best of news and it can go either way at this point. However, my doctor was beyond excited and says he seen many success stories with this outcome. Does anyone have any success stories with late bloomers? I am so shocked.
Re: I guess I get to stay for now, a little shocked!
great news! wow!
My RE told me about several late implantion successes... he NEVER went by LMP because he said he has seen too many babies be born after the parents were told it was too late, even with triggers!
Prayers said that this little one keeps growing!

And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
Karen!!!
I was thinking about you this morning after reading your blog last night and I meant to send you a note this morning before your u/s.
I wonder what the accuracy can be for a measurement of 6w2d? It's hard to be spot on with such a small embryo. So it could be that you aren't measuring that far behind. I was behind until 9 weeks and then he caught up and was ahead.
I am so excited that I can pray now that this guy sticks and grows. You'll be in my thoughts!!
This is great news, take care...I'm so happy for you both..
