I was very fortunate that I didn't really have to tell anyone about our loss. Immediate family spread the word and we made an announcement on FB.

The two ladies that I go to for my hair and pedicures (two separate places) I've been going to for years. We don't talk outside the salon but they definitely remember things about me and what we talk about each time. So I'm ridiculously scared to go because last they saw me I was 17 weeks along and showing quite a bit.

I doubt they'll remember exactly when I was due, but I am assuming they'll notice I am not a lot bigger like I should be, but still, how do I bring it up? It's hard enough to have to even say the words for the first time, let alone to someone who I've known for years but isn't a close friend like that. Did anyone else have to deal with this?

It's so tough, it never really gets easy when the question is asked. But like irichmond said, I wait for them to ask, and then pretty much have the same response that our sons didn't make it.
