Supply Question

in January 2013 Moms

Within the past few days I have noticed a decrease in my supply. I have not changed anything about my diet or water in take. My mom said her supply started decreasing right around when I was 3 months too. Could this be genetic?

    How do you know you have a decrease?  maybe your boobs are just adjusting so they don't feel full anymore, that is normal.  Its probably not genetic but maybe she's eatting less often or sleeping longer.  Those can both affect supply.

    DD usually only eats on one side per feeding. After 5 minutes on one side she kept pulling off and getting frustrated. She was acting how she does when she is finished. I then switched her to the other side and she did the same thing.

    do you pump?  Maybe its that your letdown is too powerful?  Kellymom.com is a good spot for info about this.

    She could be being impatient for a let down as well. Have you given bottles? Try to relax. Also, Dd does this when she needs to burp. I agree with it not being genetics and using kellymom.c. as a resource.
