4 month old crying with daddy

My 4 month old cries whenever daddy holds her but will smile and talk to him any other time. My husband has been around our baby since day one, home every night and use to feed her with a bottle every evening. Now she wont even let him feed her with a bottle anymore. She is breast fed so I feed her predominantly, however grandma is taking care of her for now during the day while I'm at work and she takes the bottle from her no problem. Once I'm home though she doesnt like taking the bottle from anyone unless she is very hungry. It makes it very tough for me to be able to do anything because she only wants me. Most days during the week I cant even go to the gym. We have tried my husband wearing a t shirt of his that I have worn and that didnt work. Anyone experience this problem before and what things have worked for you? Any advice is much appreciated!

  • My LO has not liked DH since day 1. This weekend he spent a night with her, while I was visiting friends in another town. The first day was horrible, but the next day she was great and has been since. That was what worked for us.

  • It's normal to go through mommy phases, especially now that they can really recognize us and know when we're not around. As a newborn they barely know the difference so it wasn't an issue. The only way to get through it is to keep having your DH spend

  • This just happened to DH! For a few weeks, DD was the same way. She went on a mini bottle strike where she would only take a bottle from DH after I BF her and then she would scream bloody murder when he held her and would calm right down when I took her.

  • My LO has been having issues with Dad also. Doesn't seem to be interested in him at all when Mom is around, once I leave the room for about 15-20 minutes, she'll calm down and accept the bottle/sleep/cuddle etc. Very strange but it seems to just be a norm
  • My LO went through a phase like this.  MH was switching jobs and was very busy settling in was he had to work a number of late nights and during the day she stays with grandma while we're at work.  She went through a phase where a woman was the
