Have you, will you, won't you?
We used one on DD at the zoo the other day. We had her in the stroller most of the time but she just got too antsy. So we put her sweet monkey leash backpack on her and let her have it. She was running and exploring. It was great to not have to worry about losing her or god forbid somebody trying to snatch her. It also helped when she almost fell face first into the pavement.
We only got 1 "is that a leash?" comment, followed by "I used to do the same thing to my kids too!"

Re: Have you "leashed" your kid yet?
I've used it a number of times.
I have one that attaches to his wrist that we used last summer when we took a few plane trips - it was very useful in the security line at the airport. He really doesn't like it now, though, so I got a backpack one
