Not sure if everyone has seen on the news, but there were two explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. On the news it looked like the explosion came from the Boston Marathon Sports store and would have impacted anyone in the store or on the sidewalk. I don't think it would have severely impacted anyone on the route.
Some friends on fb at the race posted pictures and thankfully everyone I've been able to get a hold of said they are OK.
This is such a tragic event.

So scary. I'm watching the news now and one of the runners report that 2 runners right in front of him got injured by "flying shrapnels". I think it's very likely that runners could have gotten injured as well.

I did just hear that eye witnesses reported seeing two unusual packages outside of a building...but you know
How sad. Another tragic and senseless crime against innocent people. The world is getting more and more scary each day it seems. It's a shame.
