Teething Little Monster!

I'm a FTM. My poor DD is teething, 5 months old, one of her teeth has finally broken through. She's VERY fussy, which I know isn't unusual,  but I wanted to know what do you do to comfort your little teething one.  I have the teething rings (she won't use them frozen), oragel is just a quick fix, whhat can I do without giving her Tylenol 24/7.

Also, she's has a stuffy/runny nose and slight cough, no fever, does this have anything to do with her teething??

TIA!

Re: Teething Little Monster!

  • I know it sounds ineffective but my baby preferred to chew soft things like rags and sleeves. She really liked her shoes, and since she didn't actually walk in them I was happy to let her chew them. There is hardly a picture of her between 5 and 6 months

  • I've heard Hyland teething drops are effective.  I bought them but haven't had to use yet.
  • My DD had the nose and cough problem also. We've been using the humidifier, and I've noticed her cough decrease. I'm thinking it's allergies, because I've been dealing with the same problems. I just try to keep her nose clean and clear...easier said than
