This may be a silly question, but should the mom to be get to the shower last when everyone is already there, or should she be there before the guests start to arrive?
I would get there 10 min early to thank your hostesses, give them their gifts and greet your guests as they arrive. It's rude to be late to a party in your honor.
As a GUEST, if it's not a surprise shower, I'D prefer you be there when I get there. As the guest of honor, you really should be there when your guests start to arrive.

IMO it is extremely rude for the MTB to arrive late. She should be there BEFORE any guests arrive. I've attended showers where the ONLY person I knew was the MTB. If she was not there I would have felt awkward. I've also hosted shower
I like arriving early to help with anything that needs to be done... And to make things less stressful for the hostess. I also like to give the hostess gift at this time.
around the same time everyone else gets there. All the showers i've been to, the MTB doesn't get there until an hour (even 2 hours) after the showers started. Thats just tacky in my mind, and your having your guests wait around for nothing. Be respectful
All the showers I've been to were surprise showers, and the MTB arrived 15-30 minutes after everyone else did. My shower is also a surprise, and I assume I'll be getting there shortly after everyone else does.
Re: When should mom to be get to her shower?
I was brought to the location 15 minutes after the start of the shower.
Ask the host(s) what they prefer.
