Uppababy Vista Users

How old is your child and do you use the seat front facing, or facing you? I like being able to see my 9 month old but wondering if he'd enjoy looking "out" more. Thanks!

  • DD was about 7 months when I turned her seat around. She was complaining on a walk one day do I turned her around and she was happy as a clam. She's always wanted to see the world.

  • I don't have a Vista but my stroller faces both ways. I turned my dd around when she was around a year. It was what I wanted to do and I don't think it mattered much to her. She would look around whether she was facing me or not and she wasn't unhappy in
  • My DD hated the stroller until she was in the seat and facing out.  We switched her around 6 months maybe?  It feels like so long ago now, I can barely remember lol.

  • We switched to front facing at 9 months - he didn't mind it facing towards me but I felt it was time to switch him around!

  • Different stroller but I still sometimes use it parent facing even after a year and a half. They don't seem to think about it much differently either way, they can still see when they face me as well.
  • i have a reversible stroller too..my kid freaks out if i turn him out..so he is still facing me. he is 9 1/2 months.

  • It can't hurt to just try flipping him around.  At 13 mos we do both.  It just depends on her mood.  If she is sleepy it helps to turn her around so she has less stimulation.

  • We have a vista and do both. When it's at home and we're walking around the neighborhood, shopping, or doing any kind of strolling for an extended period of time I prefer for LO to be facing me. Quick trips where he won't be in the stroller for long or ou
