Tragic Boston Marathon explosions

Maybe the hormones are making this worse but I broke down in tears when I heard of the marathon explosions today. As a marathon runner, it is just so devastating that someone is taking the sheer joy and accomplishment from so many people and that there are such sick people in this world who would do that. Scary to be thinking about raising a child in this sick world. Thoughts love and prayers for all of those affected.

    It was scary my husband usually works in that area but he had it off today. I'm so glad he was home with me instead

    yes I've been all worried all day, with my hubby being Army I'm preparing for the chance of him leaving again if this was a foreign attack.

    Devastating... and you are right.  What a harsh world we are bringing our children into.  It makes you want to hold them and never let go!
