Right now, DD is 9 1/2 months old, but I've started wondering about how food works after 1 year. I'm currently a full time student, but will hopefully be getting a job shortly after graduation next month. Right now I pump, and send milk with her to day care.
How does that work after she turns 1? Do I remember that babies aren't supposed to have bottles after 1? Should we be encouraging her to learn how to use a sippy cup? Or will she just switch to mostly solid foods during the day, and then nursing at home?
Basically, I'm wondering whether she will still need breastmilk at day care after she turns 1, and if so, whether she'll still be using a bottle, or if she will need to start using a sippy cup.
