What does your nap routine look like? Do you do the same time every day or does it depend on when LO wakes up in the morning? Do you do a bottle or cup of milk first or do you just put them in the bed wide awake? etc...
DS is usually ready for a nap 4.5-5 hours after he wakes up in the morning. This usually works out to me putting him down after lunch. We give him a bottle, dim the room, put him in sleepsack, put him to bed (sometimes he's awake, but drowsy and sometimes he's asleep). The pedi suggested I start removing the bottles. I was thinking of trying sippy cup first before going cold turkey.... Then I'll have to do the same thing for bedtime.
Re: Nap routine
We do a 4oz bottle and she goes down at 12:30-1:00 and sleeps to around 4:00-5:00.
Weekdays, DD has her nap at daycare around noon, when the rest of the group goes down. When she's home, she naps at about 11am.
We usually try to spend our mornings really active and out of the apartment. Before we leave, we close DD's blind
Burned by the Bear
She has fluids with lunch at around 11.
We read a few books and put her down still awake.
I walk into the room, turn on her radio, turn off the lights, say goodnight, walk out.
