Please tell me the reality of having more than one child. DH and I are on the fence about having another child. I am more toward yes and DH is more toward no. Sometimes we flip flop on our views. I guess what scares me the most is not knowing how to handle some situations with two babies. For example, the idea of grocery shopping with two children just seems overwhelming. Is having more than one child really as hard as I'm thinking it will be or is it not as bad as I'm making it out to be?

    My sons are about 2.5 years apart. For me this is perfect. My oldest was fairly independent when lo was born. He could get dressed, get a snack, and his cup out of the fridge on his own. This was very helpful during the early bfing months. As far as the g

    Grocery shopping with a toddler and an infant is hard.  Honestly, most of the grocery shopping I do by myself now (with no kids).

    Mine are only 18months apart and the first 6 months were much harder than I expected.  The baby was easier b/c I knew what I was doing but dealing with both was a handful.

    Going from 1 to 2 was easy! But there's a big age gap. Going from 2 to 3 that are 18 months apart was HARD!!

    It's hard but doable.  I think it depends on how far apart your kids are.  My DD is 6 yrs old so she is very independent and helpful most of the time.  But if I were to have done it perfectly I would have wanted maybe 2-3 years between them
