how to cook sweet potatoes?

Besides just steaming and pureeing them, how would I cook sweet potatoes to make them more of a finger food?

I didn't want to BLW but I think that's direction LO is leading us in!

I always bake them. You could also toss them on the grill and cut them into pieces instead of scooping out the inside.

you could cut into cubes and steam them just enough to make them softer but not mushy

do you cut them up first? or bake like you would a bake potatoe and then cut it up after?

I bake at 400 for 30 to 45min depending on size. Then I crinkle cut them into sticks. Wesley loves them!

I cut them into strips, drizzle a little olive oil and sea salt on them and bake them. mmmm so good!

I saw a recipe somewhere that had you make slices into the sweet potato without going all the way through and then roasting it like that. It looked brilliant, and I cannot find the article to get the details! I'm searching...

Bake 'um like a potato, when they are cooked and cooled cut them like French Fries.
