Clomid, trigger, fertility advice please...

In May I start my first cycle with Clomid and trigger shot, (monitored)......

I am completely new to this.  What can I expect on clomid?  What are the risks/benefits/experiences with the trigger shot?  What about intercourse throughout the cycle? 

Also it seems that multiples are higher than admitted by doctors......so much information!  I would just like to hear from experience.   

I want ANY and ALL information and experiences.

    I didn't have any bad side effects with Clomid.  I only got one mature follicle so a multiple pregnancy wasn't a concern of mine.  I think a trigger shot is enormously helpful to time/prompt ovulation.  I don't ovulate on my own.  M

    The only side effects I had from Clomid were hot flashes, which is pretty common.  You might also have some pain in your ovaries. The benefit of the trigger is that it helps pinpoint when you will ovulate (about a 48 hour window) so you can time i

    I did one round of Clomid to get pregnant this time and only remember the hot flashes. I did have three eggs drop at one time, but only one fertilized and made my healthy baby boy that I am carrying now:) GL!

    The first month I took Clomid I had 3 follicles. We just crossed our fingers and held our breath but didn't end up getting pregnant. The second month I took Clomid I had 2 follicles, one from each side. I got pregnant with one baby.

    I did 6 rounds of clomid with no luck. Side effects were megaripyourclothesoffinthemiddleofthenighthotflashes and uncontrollable weeping at any given moment. It was a rough 6 months! But, I will tell you that if you don't respond to clomid, don't give up!
    Dx with PCOS in 2004; TTC #1 since 2006. 6 failed rounds of Clomid, 1 failed round of injectibles, innumerable failed cycles of herbs, accupuncture, etc. FINALLY got BFP on 10/4/2012 after 2 rounds of Femara Can't wait to be a mommy! Pregnancy Ticker

    With my first, I did 50 mg of Clomid and timed intercourse.  Got pregnant first time. This go around, I did 3 rounds with TI, then I did 50 mg with monitoring, a trigger and IUI. I got PG with twins when I only had 2 mature follicles. I lost one a

    I never even got one follicle on Clomid so I had to move on to Femara which finally worked for me.  I had crazy mood swings and headaches on Clomid, no side effects on Femara.

    Clomid made me a crazy meanie. I was snappy and moody. The only thing that helped was a bite sized piece of chocolate every 4 hours or so... I gained some weight (about 20 pounds over 4-5 cycles).

    I did IUI with donor sperm and clomid for 2 cycl
