coming off BC / TTC question?

So with current LO I stopped BC and then got pregnant after the 2nd period. (I dunno what that'd be. . . 2nd cycle.)

I never kept track of temps, or when I O'd or anything like that.  We just started trying. 

So here's my questions.  

1-  Did you all wait X numbers of cycles before "trying" after coming off BC.

2-  I haven't even gotten a period yet. . . I stopped BFing completely mid March.  I was on the mini-pill and took the last one last Wed.  How long before I get one you suppose?

As a side note, we're hoping to concieve this summer, but I didn't want to keep taking BC and we don't like condoms- so if it happened now it'd happen.

    I waited 3 cycles after coming off BC the first time, then we started trying and I got pregnant the 2nd cycle.  I went off early mostly because I was excited to start TTC, and it gave me something to do.

    With Nat, we waited one cycle before TTC but didn't get pregnant until our second TTC cycle. So I got pregnant on the third cycle after stopping BC. It's definitely possible to get pregnant right away, though.

    For me, I started TTC the first time around right after I got off BC.  I got my period right away and my cycles were regular immediately (28-29 days and clear ovulation based on temping).  I got pregnant my 3rd cycle that time.

    The only time I was on BC was before my first pregnancy, and we waited 2 cycles before trying.

    Your period could show up anytime. My OB's rule is if you have negative pregnancy tests and no period after 60 days, call them. So, it could be a few

    With #1 we started trying right away but it took 6 months (4 cycles). With #2 we didn't avoid, but didn't really try for 2 months, (which, having irregular cycles meant who knows when the heck I was fertile) and then got our BFP the first month of

    I never waited after coming of BC to try.  in the past I've gotten pregnant on my third cycle after stopping, and first cycle.
