Baby Breakouts and Gas?

So DS had a big weekend - a baby shower in his honor (we adopted), family in town, and general chaos that caused his schedule to be totally destroyed. Sunday he was much more gassy than normal and looked like his face was breaking out - not sure if it is a rash or baby acne.

I'm not as worried about the gas - heck I get gassy under stress, but I am mildly cautious about his face. Can this breakout (or rash) be caused by stress or should I be concerned?  He doesn't seem bothered, but his face was still irritated this morning.

    My DD's face did the same thing.  It's just something that has to pass. It looked so red and inflamed, but the Dr said there wasn't much to do about it.  We did however put a little butt paste on it.  A pharmacist recommended to do that.&nb

    We had what I refer to as baby acne (could have been a rash not sure), but once we started washing her face with a cloth nightly before bed it has gone away.

    The doc said the gas is from the stress of the weekend and the gas stems from cradle cap. Clear up the cradle cap, face rash will clear by itself.
