Hi Ladies - I'm mostly a Bump lurker these days, so I hope it's okay to ask a question here. I struggle with anxiety in general, and it gets intense in medical situations. My doctor suggested that I try a natural-birth style class or program, to help me prepare to relax during labor and the birth.
What have you tried that's worked well? Lamaze / Hypnobabies, etc? TIA!

I took a hypnobabies class and I LOVED it. You sound very similar to me- I have anxiety issues, particularly when it comes to medical situations, and even though I haven't given birth yet, the tools that I've learned in this class has already proved to
