? About Gift Registries

I am registered at three different places. I have put a lot of the same items on all three registries. Will I regret that? I just want to make sure we really get the things we need and I thought I should over expose items for the people who prefer to shop at one place over the other. Let me know if this is the wrong thought process. Thanks.

  • Don't do that to your guests. I have felt like a jerk giving something the mom had just opened off her registry, and you are setting up guests to feel like they are giving you stuff you can't use.
  • Just a note that at some registry places (especially Target), I have found that when I purchase something it may not show as purchased on the registry until an item ships. I bought a PNP and it took a week to show as purchased on the registry. I was worri

Yes, it is the wrong thought process.  First and foremost, you are responsible for providing for your baby.

  • Thanks for the response. I understand that my husband and I are responsible for this baby. I just wanted to make it easier for people to shop in their preferred way. Amazon is drastically cheaper in some cases but then some people don't prefer to shop onl
  • It is certainly the wrong thought process the only thing I might put on both my Target and Amazon is car seat/stroller due to completion discount BUT I might not even do that. I might extend my EVENT DATE on it so I have time to add what I didn't get to w
