? About Gift Registries

I am registered at three different places. I have put a lot of the same items on all three registries. Will I regret that? I just want to make sure we really get the things we need and I thought I should over expose items for the people who prefer to shop at one place over the other. Let me know if this is the wrong thought process. Thanks.

My guess would be yes. You'll either have to constantly update the other 2 registries when you get something or you'll be making LOTS of returns.

MH and I registered at 2 places, but didn't overlap anything.

If you don't mind taking the time to return things and risk having issues doing so. I've heard a lot of MTB doing their registries this way.

i've been to many showers where the BTB or MTB registers for the same thing 2-3x times. You know what? They end up getting that item 2-3x. Just have it on one registry, once. Whenever I see the same item on a different registry, i don't even bother to loo

Don't do that to your guests. I have felt like a jerk giving something the mom had just opened off her registry, and you are setting up guests to feel like they are giving you stuff you can't use.
