Pottery Barn Kids Furniture

Does anyone know if I buy their furniture, will I absolutely need to buy their crib matress and bedding as well?

I am reading conflicting reports on the internet that some folks have had issues with fit.

I'd like to get a PBK crib/dressing and Land of Nod bedding.

Thanks!

Re: Pottery Barn Kids Furniture

  • I purchased the Kendall Low Rise crib from PBK.  I purchased my Colgate Classica III mattress from Amazon and my sheets and mattress protectors from BRU.  Everything fits very well.

  • We have a PBK crib, a Sealy soybean mattress and crib sheets from BBB, Target and skip hop. It all fits just fine, no issues at all.

  • I have PBK catalina crib.  Soy foam mattress from Costco and fitted sheets were carters.  Other bedding was custom made.  You definitely don't HAVE to use PBK mattress and bedding.

  • We also have the Kendall crib. We got our mattress from BBB and it fits great. We did go with PBK bedding but only because I really loved the Harper bedding. Any other bedding would have fit fine.

  • No, you don't have to use their crib mattress or bedding.  We have the PBK sleigh bed for DD with a Colgate mattress and her bedding came from Target.  It all fits perfectly.

  • I have the Kendall cribs and Lullabye mattresses. I would NOT recommend the mattress though- one of mine has a huge crack in the plasticy part. It was wayyyy too expensive to be cracking, especially since it has never been used without a waterproof mattre
  • I have the Catalina crib and our Sealy matress and Lambs & Ivy bedding fits perfectly.  All standard sizes.
  • I have the kendall crib.  I bought a soybean foam matress off amazon and it fits perfectly. I have some pbk sheets and some others, all fit fine.

I purchased the crib in November.
