baby allergies

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months

So I think DS (like me) is suffering from spring allergies. He has a stuffy/runny nose and has been sneezing (and a little coughing from the drainage).

Is there anything I can give him to help ease the symptoms and make him more comfortable?

    I thought babies couldn't get seasonal allergies during the 1 st year.

    Mine has allergies!! He's close to ten months. He was close to 9 when We took him to see an allergy specialist. He takes Zyrtec daily and we are allowed to give him benadryl if that doesn't seem to help. If he's sneezing and has runny nose, I usually don'

    Oh!! Keep it cool in house and a humidifier, wash sheets/clothes with hot water and keep everything dusted well. HTH! It's awful seeing them miserable!

    Mine has allergies too. Pediatrician said to give him children's allergy medicine. She had the dosage for infants. It helps :o)

    Our pedi said today that babies don't get allergies this soon...idk if I believe him though.

    My DD is 9 1/2 months and just did a blood test for allergies. DH and I both have allergies. The doctor told me that we can't give her anything until she is 2yrs though. I will ask the Pedi tonight at her check up because she needs some kind of relief.
