AF Tuition Reinstitution

I don't know if you all have heard, but we did have a discusson on this a few weeks ago but..... the AF has reinstated military tuition assistance, at least according to the TA website. If any of you or your SOs were waiting for the news check the TA website for more info.

    This is true for the Army as of yesterday. Of course on Monday I paid out of pocket for my own class... grrr

    DH hasn't used TA but I believe it's only reinstated until the end of the fiscal year. For the Marine Corps at least.

    My H's command routinely denies TA requests. He's been turned down 3x. Their excuse is that they can't rearrange the flight schedule for everyone who wants to take a class.
    I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.
