Question About Waking Up At Night

We started the transition to the crib last night. LO did great and ended up STTN. I kind of have a feeling that was a fluke and I'm concerned about what to do when she does wake up. She's been STTN in her swing since Christmas, so I know she won't be waking up out of hunger. Her pediatrician suggested trying the Ferber method, but I don't know if I can handle her crying for that long. She's a very difficult baby to get to sleep in the first place and she gets worked up very quickly if you let her cry. I just want to have a plan in mind when it happens.

Any ideas or thoughts?

If I try to wait he starts crying harder after a
