My daughter is almost 8 months old and has outgrown her car seat... she is already 29" long. So I am searching for the best new car seat that she will be safe and comfortable in. Also, when using a convertible seat and taking baby in the store- do you just use the shopping cart cover to put baby in? Because at 20.10 pds- she is getting very heavy to carry in the car seat?
Re: When did you change your infant car seat to Convertible?
We switched at 6.5 months. At LO's 6 month appointment he was about 20 pounds and 28 inches, so he still technically fit in his infant seat, but he was not liking to be laying down that much anymore, he wanted to be upright.
We got the Chicco Nex
we're looking into convertible seats now, but really we're more so looking at booster seats to move DD1 into so that we can move DD2 into her old brittax convertible seat.
she's way to heavy to carry around in the infant carrier anymore.&n
Haven't made the switch yet but I want to. I am trying to get a different vehicle and that will be the detemining factor.
Albeebaby.com has awesome deals. Found Britax at 50% off or more and free shipping on orders over $49.
Good luck!
