Good news for us!

We are moving at the end of the month because the house we currently rent is going to go up for sale. We found a great little townhouse that we can rent in a great neighbourhood for little one! The best part is we can afford it on just DH's salary so I get to be a SAHM. No daycare for E!

The new house has an early years program a block away, two parks, 2 lakes, and a skating rink all within a 10 minute walk! Lots of kids in the neighbourhood to play with and close to everything.

 I'm kind of sad to leave this house since she came home here and we had lots of freedom but I'd rather be able to stay home with her than stay in this house.

 The only problem is I have to pack a 4 bedroom house and move within 18 days! Any tips would be appreciated lol. This should be interesting....

    Great news about staying home! I would love to. No advice on packing. I moved while pregnant and I don't know if that would be better or worse than packing with a baby.

    Congrats!!! No real advice on moving. I've done it a lot, but never with a baby. Maybe ask a friend to watch lo for a few hours.

    Congrats!  That's wonderful news!  Only advice on moving would be when you are packing if you see things you don't need or use anymore to donate it.  That way it isn't cluttering up your new house!  I'm finding it overwhelming to ke

    Awesome!  I would hire movers to pack and move your stuff and ditto a PP on purging first so you can donate or throw stuff away you don't need anymore.

    Congrats on the new house and getting to be a SAHM, you'll love it! I don't have any advice for moving with a baby. We moved twice during our pregnancy but had movers to help so it wasn't so bad. It was nice to just be able to stand by the front door and

    My Dad is helping pay so we can have movers. I just have to pack it myself.

     LO is going to be in a ring sling, my best friend is coming to help. I have every box and each piece of furniture labeled (using painter tape an sharpie) with what

    I've moved a lot (not with a baby, but 9 times in a 6 year period). Invest in a bunch of rubbermaid totes or similar plastic boxes. They are sturdy, have handles/lids, stack easily and when you unpack you can use them for storage or nest them together
