This might be a silly question, but is it ok to eat hotdogs if they are fully cooked?

Some people will tell you no. I'm a rebel and I've eaten several during this pregnancy including yesterday. Baby and I are just fine.

All my books and doc say as long as they are piping hot It's fine. I just eat them at home now to be sure, No more sonic dogs for me till September.

I don't eat hotdogs, but I do eat chicken sausage (hello, splitting hairs!). I've continued to eat them, but we do get nitrate-free ones only now.

I had sushi last night and plan on having a hot dog with about a pound of sauerkraut today! I can't get enough I have been through 2 large jars in a week

I ate a few a couple of weeks ago and proceeded to feel bad for a couple days, then I got over it. They are delicious. Make sure they are piping hot when you eat them.

At the beginning, I was avoiding them. Then they became one of my cravings. Avoid no more. I eat them pretty frequently now.

I've had a few fully cooked all beef hot dogs already and have felt no ill effects. My doctor even said as long as it's cooked through it should be fine. I forgot the temp, but I've eaten them piping hot off the grill so I'm not worried.
