I had a csection with DS. This time around DH and I are contemplating another csection vs. a VBAC. You ladies that have had a csection...any thoughts yet on this delivery?

    I had c-sections for my first 2. This will be an emergency exit baby as well. My kids tend to have big heads like their dad and I've been told I have a narrow pelvic arch. My doc told me that it's less risky for mom and baby to have a scheduled c-section

    I have definitely thought about it, but when I had DS via c/s (they wouldn't let me labor due to high blood pressure), my doctor said no way would I have been able to deliver him vaginally. Apparently I have a very narrow pelvis? I would hate to take the

    Sighh, I am still thinking of this myself. My last labor was very difficult. Lots of problems, which ended in a c-section. So right now I am thinking of a scheduled c-section with this one, but am going to talk to my midwife and see what she thinks.

    I had a CS with DS. It was due to him being breech and my OB couldn't turn him.

    DH has been expressing that he would love for me to try and do a VBAC..but I'm not sure!

    Without getting into too many details, my C-section recovery was horrific.  I will be trying to VBAC as long as I'm a good candidate and it looks safe for baby and me.  I had an emergency section at 33w5d and pre-e, so I never went into labor. &

    My doctor told me after my last baby that this one would be a scheduled csection. I had to have a csection the first time because my daughter got stuck (her head was too big to come out) and my doctor said that usually second babies are bigger than first

    My doctor and the hospital say that do VBACs, but one of my friends who is due in 2 months called them not too long ago and they said they have women who try them, but they don't really do them. She is choosing instead to drive almost 3 hours away to deli

    I really want a vbac but my hospital has a ban on them. I have the option of driving an hour and a half and switching to an OB over my midwife and trying for a vbac. I am just not sure what I should do.

    I'm going for a scheduled C-Section... I got a really bad 4 degree laceration with the birth of my DS and my OB advised against another vaginal birth.

    I will be having my 3rd csection. My Dr. Said it would be too risky for me to have a VBAC and I figured he would know best so I've been ok with the csections.

    I am so torn about this.  My vaginal birth was 5 hours of pushing after a day of labor, needed forceps, and I tore.  My sutures never dissolved so they had to be removed at 6 weeks.  Recovery was difficult!  My C-section was scheduled.

    I never thought I'd consider VBAC either. I now find myself thinking it may be better. I am giving it lots of time. My Dr. said I am a candidate for VBAC, but they'd also be fine with RCS. I am going to wait until I am further along. Part of me thinks

    I had an emergency with my first after almost 15 hors of labour then for my last 2 I had c sections cause the dr. Refused to do vbac so I'm sure actually I know this time around it will be a section again and in my opinion it's just easier I find the firs
