I just realized that you ladies may have some ideas! Have you ever heard of a baby (or anyone really) having their ears bleed? Greyson has tubes, and every once in a while his ears will bleed so badly that they drip blood. It's enough that if he's asleep when it starts he'll wake up with his face caked in it. It's bright red, and really fluid, so I don't think it's old blood. His ENT's brilliant answer was "some times kids bleed" and she wouldn't see him. She just told me to keep his normal appointment in May. I'm not ok with this answer, and want someone to tell me where all that blood is coming from.
Thursday when it happened there was easily 1/4 cup of blood, if not more. Please don't tell me that "it happens", I hate that answer.
Also, would this concern you?? Am I over reacting by demanding someone figure this out? Be honest, but gentle

This probably isn't going to be terribly helpful because this is my own very vague memory of when I was 3.5-4 years old but I used to bleed from my ears. I did have tubes put in and used to have terrible infections but I can't say if that was before or
It doesn't happen just at night. The last time this happened the ENT discovered that he has Mastoiditis, and scheduled him for surgery. When they went in for his surgery they discovered that the infection was much more extreme then they'd expected, and
I'm so glad someone else understands.
Also, I have a totally eye roll worthy question- what exactly counts as "special needs" to be accepted on this board?
