Hi everyone. I'm due w/ my 2nd in early June and LO #1 will be 19.5 months old. We live in NYC in a 2 bedroom apt and plan on having the LOs share a room once the baby is sleeping through the night. I'm not so worried about the space around the apt. since it's a decent size and we're out and about so much anyway, but I am concerned about the two of them disturbing each other's sleep.
LO #1 has been a good sleeper since STing and his schedule is 7:30pm-6am, nap at 12:30-2:30pm. We weaned him off of night feeds at around 8 months old. We plan on having LO #2 in our bedroom (which is a good size) in a mini crib until he's around that age and then transitioning them to the same room.
If you've done this, what was it like? Did the LOs get used to each other? Was sleep seriously disturbed? Was it difficult w/ different bed times, different nap times, etc? Any advice?

Re: If Your LOs Share a Room - Come In!
Mine share. Both girls are good sleepers so that has made it pretty easy. DD2 stayed in our room until she was almost 7 months and then we moved her in. They very rarely wake each other (it has only happened when DD2 has been fussy from tee
my read shelf:
We waited until DS2 slept through the night before moving him in with DS1. They have shared a room now for over a year. Yes, one of them will wake up crying during the night every once in awhile, but 99% of the time, the other sleeps throug
Got you beat! We are in a 1br apt. I slept on the couch with DS2 in a pnp for the first couple months since he was reverse cycling. After I new I had to get back to work soon and just (to be honest) really missed sleeping next to DH,
