Has anyone tried the "Sleepeasysolution?" I have a 4 1/2 month old and we have been very lucky! She has slept all night since six weeks old but I'd like to tweak her schedule a little bit. I would like to get her napping on a schedule in her crib. Currently, she is sleeping at night in her crib but napping in the swing during the day. I suppose this is a mistake I made very early on when she was first born. I would let her take her naps there during the day. And now, I try to get her to nap in her crib but it doesn't last long. If she naps in her swing, she will take a good 1 1/2 - 2 hour nap most days about 2 hours after she wakes up and a couple more catnaps during the day. Usually one in the afternoon and one in the evening. But if I put her in her crib, she only naps for about 20 - 30 minutes. She is breastfed and at night to get her to go to sleep I rock her and feed her with the lights off and her sound machine playing. She usually dozes off while feeding and then I lay her down in her crib. She usually stays asleep but if she doesn't, we let her cry for about 5-10 minutes depending on if it's a hard cry or just a little fuss. Sometimes she will go back to sleep on her own. I've been spoiled with her sleeping all night and don't want to do anything to mess that up but I would like to be able to put her down in her crib while she's still awake and let her fall asleep to take her naps and to go to sleep at night. I've tried doing the same nighttime routine during the day for her naps but that hasn't worked. Is she at the right age for this kind of schedule I would like her to have?
