for those EBF: weekend away?

I'm going to post on the BF board but thought I'd ask here too.  If you are still nursing your LOs, have you gone away for weekend or such and did it impact your nursing relationship?

DD is 19 months (will be almost 21 when I go away for 2 days) and nurses am, nap, and bedtime.  I don't foresee her weaning between now and when I go away. I'm not worried about supply really but I'm trying to let her self-wean and don't want going away to ruin that. I realize it might but I'm looking for hope that it won't from others.

    When LO was just over 18m old we spent the night away, but it ended up being about 24hrs apart. It didn't impact nursing at all. First thing he wanted to do when he saw me was nurse. I think you'll be fine on that end. I would take a hand pump with you

    I am interested in this as well. Cordelia will be just 16 months when I go away for 2 days/2 nights and am hoping that it doesn't hurt EBFing.  Will be watching!!

    My experience may or may not apply, I went away for a weekend when my DD was 9 months and I think I needed to pump more than I did like more than just at her every feeding because she was better than the pump. My supply definitely dropped and I decided to

    We went away for a weekend at 13 months with my goal being gentle weaning. He was down to 1-2 feeds a day. I was hoping he'd forget about nursing when I returned, as my weaning attempts had not been successful for the previous month.

    We went away for a wedding an entire weekend when LO was only 9 weeks old.  I had a good freezer stash and then pumped all weekend.  Our relationship with BFing wasn't harmed at all.

    I asked a similar question on the BF board awhile ago and the general consensus was that you don't have to worry much about supply or weaning over a weekend when you're dealing with a toddler. Everyone had positive stories to share; they just recommended
