Brace yourselves its long and I apologize.

I'm having my sons 3rd birthday party in a few weeks and I do not want to invite a coworker who I've invited to previous bday's.

Here is why: I generally invite her and her 2 boys and the first time she showed up with another friend and her two kids. Ok extra guests I can handle. She and extra guests were stuffing bottles of wine and beer yes I offered wine and beer at his outdoor bday because I don't expect people to get hammered but enjoy a glassinto there purses. At the end of this event come to find out she brought no gift.

2nd bday: shows up without sons but brings 4 adults when asked where the boys were, they were home sick with gma again take over 100 in wine and beer BUT bring 10 in a card.

Maybe I'm overreacting but whether or not she gets offended I'm not inviting her behind this year.

Also not clear why you'd invite someone like that back the 2nd time so no I would not feel badly not inviting her... honestly I have never even heard about someone bringing multiple adults (that you don't know, plus their kids??) to a children's birthday

Thanks everyone, I invited her the second time because my son likes her sons but I'm sorry I'm just not dealing with it anymore. Probably will have lots of drinks left over lol.

Ditto everyone above, it's very rude to bring anyone uninvited to a party, let alone random adults to a child's party. I've never heard of stuffing booze in your purse. You were incredibly kind to invite her a second time, don't do it again! &

I wouldn't invite, but I also don't pay that much attention to people at the parties I throw. If I supply the drinks and food, I'm glad they enjoy them. And I certainly don't try to make sure they gift they give covers the cost of their food.
