Hi! My 2 year old, 26 mos to be exact, started to try and climb out of his crib so we transitioned him to a twin bed. He has been sleeping at night normally but naps have been a struggle. The first two days he napped wonderfully but the past several days he will not go down for a nap. The only way he will fall asleep is if I sit on his bed with him until he falls asleep and once he does fall asleep he wakes after only 45 minutes. He used to nap for 2 to 3 hours. He is exhausted when he wakes and he actually fell asleep on the hardwood floor shortly after he woke from his nap this afternoon. Is this normal during the crib to bed transition? If anybody has any tips or advice id greatly appreciate it as he needs his sleep and I hate to see him so tired.
Thanks!
