I really would like to make my own baby food, and I'd like to hear from those of you who have experience here. I want to make sure I am getting quality gear to make it as fast and easy as possible- I want to make sure I have time to spend with my baby instead of cooking baby food over a hot stove and then pureeing it in a mediocre processor which only gets the food half-blended. Gear includes storage, processors, etc. Anything that has to do with getting started making my own baby food! TIA.

We just breastfed exclusively until DD was able to pick up solids and put them in her mouth. (around 6 months). No pureeing or fooling around with spoonfeeding. It's technically called Baby Led Weaning if you want to look into it.&nbs
It really doesn't take long to make baby food. I made 2 trays of squash, and a tray of peas in about 15 minutes.
