Nebulizer tips?

E has to do her nebulizer breathing treatments every 4 to 6 hours. She screams the while time! Anyone have any tips? The best we have right now is sitting with her on my lap facing out, left arm wrapped around her holding both her arms down, my chin stabilizing her head some, my right hand holding the mask to her face, rocking and singing. She has moments of calm this way but still screams the majority of the treatment.
Oh, and I infected my mom and MH with my stomach bug, so additional hands are currently out of the question. Help!

    My nephew had to do them all the time. Is there something on TV that might distract her that you could sit and watch? I wasn't around when he was that little but I'll see my SIL today so I'll ask what her tips are!

    Thanks whales! We have been staying in my brothers basement this weekend so no tv. But I'll try this as soon as we get back home. She does have a video on MH's phone she likes. I'll try that too. Good idea!

    Okay one more tip, don't know if it will work for you. If you can get the wand instead of the mask, you can give her a bottle while running the treatment close to her face. As she is breathing to drink the bottle she will take in the medicine. I have a fr

    FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
    After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!

    Thanks eponine!  I really hope once we get all this cleared up we will have a healthy period.  We've been through the ringer lately!

    We had to do the nebulizer with Grayson when he had RSV. I held him the same way you are and I would sing to him, talk to him, give him toys (as long as he wouldn't grab the tubing and mask) and my Mom or DH would try to distract him by singing, dancin

    Thanks M. I didn't realize he had RSV, poor little guy! Hopefully MH will be over the stomach virus now and we can double team this. It's really hard to do it solo.
