DD doesn't really watch TV. She doesn't sit still long enough and, in general, we have music on, instead, while she's awake. No bigs if other LO's watch TV, I'm just assuming there are a lot of references to kids' shows that I just don't get.
This week, a little girl in DD's room at daycare had a Yo Gabba Gabba birthday. The goodie bags were insane and included YGG themed snacks, stickers, noisemakers and a stuffed animal. DD received a plush Toodee and she looooooves it, even though she's never seen the show.
DH and I went on YouTube last night to watch a few clips. As soon as it popped up, I was like, "That's DJ Lance. I didn't know his last name was Rock." Then I had to cover myself and pretend I didn't know that from the AEs.
But seriously, that show is so bizarre. What the F is going on?
Re: Yo Gabba Gabba
Somebody developed a formula for visual baby crack. For Oliver it was Teletubbies, Audrey Boohbah and Violet YGG. I have to say out of these three I'd take YGG any day.
Actually for Oliver it was Elmo in grouchland!!!
DD and I both like it.
When the song comes on she yells "Yo gah gah! Yo gah gah!"
However, I think Brobee might be her favorite, which I side eye.
Hey there!! You should definitely let your daughter watch Yo Gabba Gabba! We love to dance, sing and move around!!! It's fun to move around with all of your friends, right?!?

Nora was not interested at all. She just loves signing time and sesame street.
DD LOVES that show. It's one of the only things that will calm her down.
Great, now I have "There's a party in my tummy ! Oh ya, oh ya !" in my head." ::headdesk::
