LO Screams during Burping and Rocking to Sleep

My DD screams when we remove the bottle from her mouth and start trying to get her to burp. It's not a reflux thing and burping doesn't hurt her, she just screams because we are taking the bottle from her.  The only way she will stop sometimes is if we distract her with the TV.  Anyone else LO do this?? It is so frustrating! The feeding process should be enjoyable for both of us and she screams.  We feed her an 8 oz bottle, burping halfway and at the end so we're not excessively burping her.

DD also hates if we sit in the rocking chair to get her to sleep.  Yet again, she screams.  The only way she'll stop is if we walk her around the room and gently bounce her.  Anyone else LO??

How is it possible that she seems to already have such a temper! I think I'm in for it when she's 2 and 3 :-(

Just wondering if anyone else's LOs exhibit this type of behavior, what you did to get it to stop, will she grow out of it?

    My LO did this with the bottle but it was when it was empty she wanted more so we started doing 8 oz bottles and she's fine. But I tried to stop her half way and she would scream, my pedi said to let her finish and so we did and she's fine now about it! G

    Yeah I just don't want her belly getting upset if I feed her 8 oz before she burps! So you feed 8 oz and burp at the end?  I may try that since its clearly upsetting her having the bottle being taken away.

    C does this too! Screams bloody murder when we take her bottle away to burp. She also has a mega grip on it and I have to pry it from her hands! :(

    DD is the same about sitting. She likes us to be standing even though I'm not sure how she knows the difference! No advice, just saying we're in the same boat!

    Sorry I can't fall asleep and am lurking. My 6 week old does everythin you just said! Needs to be standing... And the Mid bottle burping. If she doesn't get burped she throws up. She makes the saddest frown and just cries like we are starving her

    Ok well I'm glad to hear I am not the only 1 with a baby that screams when the bottle is taken away!  Geez what are these kids going to do when they get older and don't get their way haha- yikes!!!!

    Hahaha!  Me, too!  I have a pacifier ready to pop in his mouth as I take the bottle away so that he can keep sucking on something.

    I just told him the other day that he's going to be REALLY fun to deal with when he's two!

    I would try just letting her take the whole bottle and then burping her.  Imagine how much air she is swallowing as she screams her head off!  

    As for not wanting to be rocked in the rocking chair, a lot of babies are like that.  I
