Adoption

Intro

I'm a long time lurker on the various boards.  After 2.5 years of TTC, DH and I have decided to move on from IVF and pursue either adoption or surrogacy.  We are not sure which path we will go down yet.  We have begun researching adoption agencies for a domestic infant adoption.  From your experiences, did you use an agency that was close to home (we live in CT) or one that was out of state?  Any agency recommendations are welcome!  For those who also live in CT, I I have contacted a few local agencies but they said they were small agencies and that we would probably want to go with a larger agency.  I would appreciate any advice on adopting in CT as well.  Thanks!

Hi, we live in CT and it is one of four states that REQUIRES an agency.  That being said, there are ways to do other types of adoptions and only get an agency involved at the very end.  Have you done your Homestudy yet?  Let me know where y
