I make my daughter's food but and she has also been eating finger foods such as cheese, fruit, puffs, yogurt bites, etc. She's always been a great eater. Loves to eat, loves to feed herself. THe last 2 days it's like she's a different kid! She gags at almost anything that I give her. She'll immediately put her fingers in her mouth (how she soothes herself) and then throws up. Last night, she only ate a few bites of her dinner, 1/2 her bottle and no more. I thought for sure she'd be up in the middle of the night wanting a bottle but she slept all night. She ate a full bottle this morning but refused breakfast but a few bites (cantaloupe and oatmeal) and then for lunch we tried on 3 occasions to get her to eat. She ate her cheese fine but would cry any time the spoon came near her mouth, she'd gag and threw up at least 3 times. Is this just a phase? Does she just want to feed herself? Any insight would be great! thanks!
