I'm struggling with everything that's going on. I just feel like I can't do this for the next 6 to 8 weeks. It's so hard to have the babies at the hospital and leave them everyday even though I know we can't care for them at home. Our 4 year old just sucks right now, she cries a lot, throws tantrums all the time and mouths off. DH and I are constantly at each others throats because we're tired and stressed. I also started going back into work after working from home for 2 weeks.
I just don't know how I can get through this, especially for 6 to 8 more weeks. Agh!!!
Re: Did you ever feel like you couldn't do it?
((hugs)) you have so much on your plate right now, it would be totally expected for you to feel really overwhelmed! What's your support system outside your DH, can you lean on anyone to help you with DD1? Maybe someone could take her for a day this wee
Balancing it all was the toughest part for me. Trust me when I say soon it will all be a distant memory!
(((hugs))) I think that we've all been there. I don't know how to tell you that you will get through it, but you will. For me, it's not something that I will ever forget, but I think that it was a defining moment in my life.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I didn't have an older child when DS was in nicu but I worry about this for next time. It is one of the reasons we are waiting a bit before we try again.
